Built in the late 1960s by Pullman Standard, this 50’ boxcar was used in general service for the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio Railroad. Founded in 1938 through a merger of the Gulf, Mobile & Northern and the Mobile & Ohio railroads, GM&O became a medium-sized Class I railroad with a main line between Mobile, Alabama, Kansas City, Kansas, and Chicago, Illinois.
